Enrolling in Your Benefits

Your enrollment period is an important time to review your benefit options and choose the best coverage for you and your family. You can enroll for benefits within 30 days of your eligibility date or during the annual Open Enrollment period. No enrollments or changes will be allowed after your initial enrollment period or after the annual Open Enrollment period ends, unless you experience a qualifying life event (see Eligibility & Making Changes for details).

New Hires – How to Enroll

Welcome to Wilbur-Ellis! New hires have 30 days to enroll in health and welfare benefits, with coverage beginning on the 1st of the month following their hire date. You MUST enroll within 30 days of your hire date. 

All employees must enroll in Workday.

When You’re Ready to Enroll

  1. Log in to Workday (desktop or mobile) to enroll.
  2. Review your benefit options and choose the coverage that fits you and your family.
  3. Add dependents, as necessary.
  4. Specify beneficiaries for your Life and AD&D insurance, 401(k), and HSA plans.
  5. Consider voluntary benefits to supplement your coverage. All coverage levels are Guaranteed Issue (GI) this year, and you may increase coverage for yourself, your spouse, or your child without providing Evidence of Insurability (EOI).
  6. Submit your elections within 30 days of your hire date.
